Mid-May Catch up.

As we've passed the half way mark of May, I'll be giving you some of the hot picks from April and May. This post is going to be a little different I'll be recommending everything I've seen so far and letting you decided what's worth the watch? Choose carefully.

Too Hot to Handle; I personally found it a tad bit sticky, don't get me wrong it was entertaining considering I watched all 8 episodes in one night. It did however remind me of Love island just without the money and not as many of attractive people. If you're still curious to watch it, I'd give it a go if you like reality shows.

Dead to Me S2; If your like me and you love Christina Applegate's sarcastic humour and hilarious one liners then this is a show for you. The first episode builds up as tensions and thrills are high in the most unexpected ways to set off a season. A surprise appearance from James Marsden masterpiece performance being Steve's twin to Linda Cardellini exploring her new normal without Steve and adding more lies to the list. However it went on a bit of a rocky road in the middle of the season for a few episodes but then the last episode of the season was exceptional, it really sets up a great potential storyline for a Season 3.

Hollywood; Can't forget about going to Dreamland! The first 5 seconds of the first episode immediately hooks your eyes and there's no turning back. It's a love letter to Hollywood in the 1940's post WorldWarII, following the dreams of young aspiring actors and filmmakers doing whatever means necessary to achieve their dreams. Nothing say's Hollywood like chasing your dream no matter the cost. If anyone wants to know exactly what "ACE Studios" is like and what creative individuals will do to get what they want then watch this to fully comprehend the meaning behind Hollywood.

The Wrong Missy; Something funny with David Spade in it, then it's definitely worth the watch. What else could go wrong for him? well trust me it does.. A hilarious comedy from Happy Madison Productions. Anything with Adam Sandler's company behind is a must watch, it will leave you missing his comedies. From the blind date of hell to a weekend of bonding with his company in Hawaii, how far will he go before she finds out she was the wrong Missy?

L.A.'s Finest; Want to find out what happened to Marcus sister after Bad Boys 2. This spinoff set 5 years after the second movie will give you the answers to the questions that you weren't looking for. Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union-Wade two badass LAPD detectives tackling one case after another while tracking down an infamous drug lord from ones past. Similar chemistry to other cop partners from classics such as "Lethal Weapon", "Bad Boys", "Die Hard" and "Beverly Hills Cops".

Normal People; Two words, Connell's chain! If anything you should watch it because of that alone. A major addition to a fantastic piece of Irish TV production. Two teens trying to navigate life as "young adults" as it goes well beyond sexual awakening and personal relationship development. It's catching their inner conflicts from teens to adulthood during the duration of relating to others in their cohort. Sally Rooney has written a beautiful story of acceptance and satisfaction of a millennial love story between Connell and Marianne.

Station 19; Firefighters and drama. It's 100% watchable, Three seasons of intense storylines and character development. Andy Herrera a confident firefighter following in the footsteps of her father, jumping into one relationship after another. You'll fall in love with these characters and its a total binge-watch series. A steamy show cruising through struggles of firefighters in the same universe of Greys Anatomy. With multiple crossover events throughout the show, you might even get to see some of familiar faces that you know and love.

Coffee & Kareem; A police officer and his girlfriend's 12 year old foul language son looking for a way out of a secret network of criminal activity. What could go wrong? An Action/Comedy aiming for laughs at the most inappropriate and profanity behaviour isn't exactly meant for kids, is exactly why it made it so entertaining. A dysfunctional family to begin with but an overly accurate representation of a drug heist gone wrong.
